Our EP service strives to offer world class care through one on one consultations, small group exercise training, virtual exercise sessions and online educational workshops. We seek a new EP team member is looking for a specialist role in Rheumatology who share our belief in the power of exercise to help our clients succeed.

Role Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic, efficient, and highly motivated Accredited Exercise Physiologist for a part-time clinical role. This position is ideal for a fully qualified AEP looking to supplement other work or further study. The role involves working in-person to deliver exceptional exercise physiology services to our clients. There is potential for the role to expand for the ideal candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver treatment plans for patients with rheumatic diseases to help them life and feel better
  • Conduct in-person assessments and consultations
  • Facilitate group training sessions and telehealth services
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals and specialist referrers
  • Build and retain a clinical list that assists patients through the patient journey
  • Follow up clients who have stopped engaging in an attempt to re-engage with them or to figure out why they have discontinued care

Clinical Opportunities:

  • Enhance your knowledge and expertise in Rheumatology
  • Treat a varied case load primarily of private patients but also Medicare referrals, NDIS, and insurance schemes
  • Collaborate with our specialised multidisciplinary team including Rheumatologists, Physiotherapists, Hand specialists, Podiatrists and Remedial Massage Therapists

  • Prioritise what needs to be done to help patients succeed through their health journey

Requirements:

  • ESSA Accredited Exercise Physiologist
  • Annual CPR & First Aid certification
  • Willingness to register with SIRA to treat patients under insurance schemes
  • Ability to work at Chatswood location and Saturday mornings

 

Desirable Attributes (not essential):

  • Personal training experience, especially in group facilitation
  • Physically fit and experienced in functional training
  • Chinese language skills
