How can this event help me?

Food sensitivities can impact digestion and overall well-being, making it challenging to enjoy meals without discomfort. Understanding how to identify and manage food triggers is key to improving gut health and quality of life. Join Dietitian Monica Kubizniak for an insightful session on food sensitivities and the Low FODMAP approach, a scientifically-backed dietary method designed to alleviate digestive symptoms and enhance your comfort.

In this session, Monica will aim to cover:

  • Understanding Food Sensitivities: Explore the differences between food sensitivities, allergies, and intolerances, and how these issues can affect digestion, energy levels, and overall well-being, particularly for individuals with chronic conditions or sensitive systems.
  • Exploring the Low FODMAP Approach: Dive into the Low FODMAP diet, a scientifically-backed method to identify and manage food triggers. Learn about its role in reducing symptoms like bloating, gas, and discomfort for improved digestive health.
  • Practical Strategies for Everyday Eating: Discover how to plan and prepare Low FODMAP-friendly meals that are both nutritious and delicious. Learn shopping tips, meal ideas, and techniques for navigating social situations while staying symptom-free.
  • Reintroducing Foods Safely: Gain step-by-step guidance on reintroducing foods after an elimination phase to identify your specific triggers. Understand how to personalise your diet for long-term symptom management and variety.
  • Maintaining Balanced Nutrition: Get insights into meeting your nutritional needs while following the Low FODMAP diet. Learn how to incorporate diverse, nutrient-dense foods to ensure your meals are satisfying and health-supportive.

Take this opportunity to explore effective ways to improve your digestion and overall comfort. Join us live at 8pm Wednesday, March 5th, for this informative and practical session. Like all our lifestyle events, we will welcome questions and discussion so we can all hear and learn from each other.
