Unfortunately, we don’t have access to pre-filled syringes or pens on the Australian Pharmaceutical Benefits scheme.
So, people who need to use Methotrexate via injection, under the skin (subcutaneously), will need to actually draw up the solution and then self-inject or they need to have a family member or health professional perform this.
This can be very daunting.
