Methotrexate would sit somewhere in the top 5 list of prescriptions I initiate.
I spend lots of time talking about it, trying to explain why it's being used, the pros and cons, what to expect.
We've decided to enhance the education process with Methotrexate and last week, we created 19 short videos to answer the most pertinent questions we could think of. Our rheumatology care coordinator, Flora, will be emailing this vidscription to patients commencing Methotrexate in the clinic to reinforce the education they receive in the clinic.
