Errol Lim

Errol Lim – Physiotherapist – Brookvale, Chatswood and Parramatta

Errol has been a physiotherapist since 1998. He has had a special interest in sports physiotherapy through his career having been a physiotherapist for local rugby teams. He has also been a physiotherapist at international level travelling as part of the Australian medical team to the last 4 World University Games from 2003 (Korea) to 2011 (Shenzhen).

Having worked with a group of rheumatologists for some time now, Errol enjoys treating people with varied musculoskeletal and inflammatory conditions. He has specific interests in injuries of the knee and ankle.

Apart from being a physiotherapist, Errol is the managing director and co-founder of BJC Health. His drive and ambition started as a small clinic owner in Chatswood and his passion now lies in creating a health service that embraces BJC Health’s connected care philosophy.

Belinda Cheng

Belinda Cheng – Physiotherapist – Chatswood and Parramatta

Belinda graduated from the University of Sydney as a physiotherapist in 2006 and has been working in private practice since 2007. She has worked as a physiotherapist with local soccer and rugby teams. As Belinda plays tennis regularly and has been a tennis coach in the past, she has a keen interest in treating musculoskeletal injuries as a result of sport.

Belinda has also completed her McKenzie therapy training for both the lumbar and cervical spine, and also completed clinical pilates level 1 and 2 courses.

Her ability to speak Cantonese is also a great asset to her clinical practice.

Rachael Butterworth

Rachael Butterworth – Physiotherapist – Brookvale and Parramatta

  • Bachelor of Health Science (Physiotherapy) graduating in 2003 from Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand
  • Experience in sports and musculoskeletal conditions working in both Australia and the United Kingdom
  • Sports coverage of State and National level Touch Football Teams and numerous years experience with Suburban Rugby Union Club
  • Trained in Muscle Energy Techniques for treatment of cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine injuries, rib and pelvic dysfunctions
  • Particular interest in lower limb biomechanics and over use injuries of the lower limb, including endurance sports, running and triathletes
  • Rehabilitation for tendinopathies of the lower limb
  • Trained by Dean Waston for treatment of cervicogenic headaches

Ray Jongs

Ray Jongs – Hand Physiotherapist – Chatswood

  • Ray’s expertise lies in neuro-musculoskeletal conditions and injuries of the hand and distal upper limb.
  • He is a Certified Hand Therapist through the Hand Therapy Certification Commission (HTCC, USA), and is a titled full member of the Australian Hand Therapy Association (AHTA).
  • He has a concurrent appointment at the Royal North Shore Hospital as a Senior Physiotherapy Clinician in Hands.
  • He has also worked in Hand Therapy units in London: Chelsea & Westminster Hospital and the Wellington Hand Unit.
  • He is currently completing a Research Masters, investigating the effectiveness of splint intervention on stiff wrist

 Jean Redmond – Physiotherapist

Jean Redmond

Jean graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Science Degree in Physiotherapy from University of Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, UK. She worked in Leeds Teaching Hospitals in the UK for 3 years completing many specialist rotations including rheumatology, orthopaedics and musculoskeletal out-patients.

She has completed the APPI (Pilates) Matwork 1 course as well as other short courses including Mulligans and MWMs.

She has an interest in all areas of musculoskeletal physiotherapy with a focus on preventative care.

Elaine Tan  - Physiotherapist - Parramatta 

Elaine Tan

Elaine grew up in Singapore and graduated from The University of Sydney in 2008. Prior to starting at BJC Health, she worked in the public hospital system rotating through a range of disciplines such as rehabilitation, orthopaedics, musculoskeletal outpatients and the medical assessment unit.
Elaine has also participated in research focused on enhancing therapy for specific patient groups. She has a special interest in sports physiotherapy having worked the sidelines for junior rugby union at St. Ignatius College, Riverview over the past 3 seasons.
Elaine had competed in judo and various track and field events at a representative level. Being a sports enthusiast, she enjoys other sports including canoeing, wakeboarding and long distance running. As such, this lays a foundation for her role as a physiotherapist giving her a good understanding of the physical and psychological demands placed on athletes when it comes to treating sports injuries.

Sarah Thamin – Physiotherapist – Chatswood

Sarah Thamin

Sarah is a graduate from the University of Sydney. Her aim is to excel in the treatment of lower back and lower limb injuries. Having practical experience in hospital outpatients, home and community care, as well as neurological and orthopaedic wards has given Sarah the ability to prescribe specific exercises for a range of conditions. Sarah has also supervised patients in hydrotherapy classes and hence understands what patients with degenerative arthritis may some time require as part of their rehabilitation.

Sarah also has an interest in sport injury prevention. At the same time, her main goal is to give patients pain relief for chronic and degenerative/inflammatory conditions using manual techniques such as Mulligans and MWMs (“movement with mobilisations”).

Hans Lee - Physiotherapist - Chatswood and Parramatta

Hans Lee

Hans graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from The University of Otago, New Zealand. Prior to joining BJC Health, he practised musculoskeletal physiotherapy in Auckland with a special focus on sports rehabilitation and workplace injury prevention. Hans is certified in Dry Needling Plus (Level 1 and 2) and Kinesio Taping Methods (Levels 1–3); and has a special interest in core strengthening and muscle balance.Hans has been a physiotherapist for a number of local premiership and national teams in rugby, rugby league, Oz tag, volleyball, basketball and street dance. He has also worked alongside nordic and professional golfers. In 2010 and 2011, Hans travelled with Dziah Dance Academy (New Zealand) to the World Hip Hop Championships in the United States and World Supremacy Battlegrounds in Sydney.

Hans believes in a holistic approach to injury prevention and treatment. His passion in a multidisciplinary approach to health care was what drew him to join BJC Health. Hans is fluent in English and can speak some Mandarin and Taiwanese.
